During the summer months, our “Villa Daphnis & Chloe” transforms into a family paradise. Children are looked after for 4-5 hours every day (in German), enjoying creative games, walks, and swimming. Join our activities exploring history, nature, and Greek cuisine. These activities sometimes include the whole family and sometimes just the parents while the children are in child care. There is always something for everyone, and above all, relaxation.

Villa Daphnis & Chloe is a tranquil hotel surrounded by olive, eucalyptus, and fig trees. Start your day with our delicious homemade breakfast, then let the family dive into fun. While parents have time for their own, children enjoy daily childcare, where they explore Greek myths, play in the olive grove, feed our donkey Socrates, or splash in the pool.
The villa’s communal spaces bring everyone together, with a garden, a children’s play area, and a cozy salon for adults. For those seeking peace, there are plenty of quiet corners to relax and unwind. Families are always welcome at our main hotel, Votsala, just a 4-minute walk by the sea. At Votsala enjoy delicious meals, sip on homemade lemonade from the bar, and relax by the sea. Feel free to use our sea pedalos and canoes, and yes, they are free!

Lesvos is a hidden gem, perfect for families looking to enjoy nature and experience the real Greece—far away from crowded tourist spots. The island’s lush landscapes thrive thanks to its natural fresh water, making it a beautiful place to explore. Lesvos has inspired many famous thinkers and artists throughout history, including Aristotle and Sappho. With our guided activities, your family can discover the island’s untouched beauty, while getting to know the local community, culture, and delicious cuisine.

Enjoy our daily homemade breakfasts under the shade of our big fig tree. Each day, we serve a variety of savory and sweet surprises using fresh vegetables and fruits from our garden, along with delicious yogurt and homemade jams that both kids and parents love!
Each villa apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen.
At Hotel Votsala:
Join light lunches daily (except Sundays) from 13:00 – 14:30.
Twice a week, delicious dinners by the sea.
We're not an all-inclusive hotel; our focus is on supporting our local community and sharing Lesvos’ culture. Explore nearby tavernas just a 4-minute walk away or venture further around the island. Join us for cozy dinners in charming villages after our guided walks.

When I first saw this villa at age seven (in 1961), I was enchanted by its garden and colorful flowers. In 2010, as an architect, I had the joy of transforming this old bathing pension into a beautiful apartment hotel, using the garden as my inspiration.

Cooking is my passion, and I’d love to share it with you! Join me for fun cooking classes where we’ll explore the rich flavors and traditions of Greek cuisine. And don’t worry—little cooks are always welcome to help stir, mix, and taste along the way!

I love starting the day with yoga by the sea—it's better than any alarm clock! On our trips, I’ll take you through the hidden paths of Lesvos, always ending up in a cozy village sharing a meal with locals.

My father-in-law, Iannis, is a history lover, and I’m a real historian. I fell in love with the rich history of Lesvos in 2022. Join me for history walks—no exams, I promise! The island’s stories are way more fun than any classroom.

Hi, I’m Ekmek! Kids sometimes argue over who gets to lead me on walks (though I already know the way), but my parents, Lina and Christophe, always make sure everyone gets a turn. Who knew being a dog could be so educational?

We are a Family running and living at the two hotels laying nearby. We love helping you find the way to our favourite non-touristic corners. Our proposed activities can accompany you into nature, history, local life, culture, and cuisine.
